Enable Partition

Enable partition on 10g  database

1)down the database
2)excute 3 commands below

select * from v$option;

cd $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib
make -f ins_rdbms.mk part_on
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/relink all

3)bring up the database
select * from v$option;

Enable partition on 11g database

chopt enable partitioning
